Step 1 – Click on Start and type in GlobalProtect.
Step 2 – Open GlobalProtect.
Step 3 – Click on Connect.
Step 4 – Enter your Username and Password. The username is the first part of your email address, so if your email
address is user@sms.com.mt type in the following;
Username: user
The password used for GlobalProtect VPN is the same password that you would use to login to your computer.
Password: ********
Step 5: Wait for the GlobalProtect VPN client to connect.
Important Note: If you have a selection of Portals: stj-vpn1.sms.com.mt and stj-vpn2.sms.com.mt, please try connecting to stj-vpn1 first. If that doesn’t work try using stj-vpn2.
When one or both connections doesn’t work it means that either you have an issue with your internet connection, VPN client or there is an issue with both internet connections at SMS Head office in St. Julian’s, Malta.
